MANILA, Philippines - "Brainstorm 3" is the third chapter in a dynamic series of abstract art exhibitions. Curated by visual artist Janddie Castillo, this latest showcase brings together over 40 artists from across the Philippines and beyond, offering a rich and diverse exploration of abstract expression. The show opens on July 12, 2025 and an Artists Reception on July 19, 2025 (4pm-9pm). Happening at Imahica Art Gallery, Lee Gardens, Wack-Wack, Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City. The exhibition will run until July 26, 2025.
From bold gestural strokes to refined geometric forms, the artworks span a wide range of styles, each piece reflecting a personal response to the world through color, movement, and texture. The exhibit invites viewers to immerse themselves in an emotional and imaginative journey where meaning is open-ended and interpretation is encouraged.
Abstract art, unbound by literal representation, speaks in the language of color, texture, and rhythm. Each piece in this collection is a meditation on chaos and calm, on memory and imagination, on the seen and the felt. The selected works span a spectrum of abstraction, from gestural expressionism to geometric minimalism. Together, they explore the tension between spontaneity and structure, inviting viewers to interpret freely and feel deeply.
Featuring members of the OBRAVO Artists Society alongside both rising talents and celebrated figures in contemporary art, "Brainstorm 3" is a celebration of creative freedom, experimentation, and the limitless possibilities of abstraction.
