MANILA - Fair weather with isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the country Monday, the weather bureau said.
"No weather disturbance is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next three days," Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
The southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Batanes and Cagayan.
The same weather condition will be experienced over Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte due to the easterlies.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are likely during moderate to at times heavy rains.
"The rest of Luzon will have fair weather," Aurelio said.
The rest of the country will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over the northern and western sections of Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
