CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Sept.17 (PIA) -- Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (Go Negosyo) gathered Monday graduates of its Kapatid Mentor ME Program in Central Luzon for a learning session.
"The Money and Market Encounter is a one-day session for mentee graduates of the Kapatid Mentor ME program for them to be educated on the existing financial and market platforms," DTI Regional Director Judith P. Angeles said.
Banking and other financial institutions presented their latest offering for micro, small and medium enterprises during the Money module while the Market module centered on partner institutions who are into digital platforms, the brick and mortar, and cashless payment applications.
"Business Matching was done after the learning session where mentee graduates freely interacted to potential online and offline partners," Angeles added.
Kapatid Mentor ME program was developed with the vision of levelling up micro and small entrepreneurs to scale up their businesses thru the Public Private Partnership between DTI and Go Negosyo.
With the 10 week mentorship program, mentees are enabled and equipped with knowledge and essential business modules.
Mentee graduates of this program were expected to make a Business Improvement Plan for them to present to a panel of business enablers. (CLJD-PIA 3)
