LUNGSOD NG NAGA, Hunyo 5 (PIA) - - - Mainit na tinanggap sa lalawigan ng Camarines ang grupo ng Sakay, Lakad, at Layag para sa Sangnilikha o SALAKYAG Caravan 2018 Linggo ng hapon mula lungsod ng Legazpi.
Ang naturang martsa ay nagsimula sa Zamboanga noong Mayo 28.
Dumaan ang mga ito sa Caritas-Caceres Development Center sa Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur at tumuloy sa Holy Rosary Minor Seminary sa Lungsod ng Naga Sinalubongsila ni Caritas-Caceres Director Fr. Mark Real ng Arkidyoses ng Caceres. Isang banal na misa ang inialay para sa mapayapang paglalakbay ng naturang grupo.
kabilang sa mga lumahok sa caravan ay ang Peoples' Organizations (POs) na tagapagtaguyod ng proteksyon ng watersheds, mining, coal at mga Diocesan Social Action Centers (SAC) at mga Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) na tumutulong sa kumunidad pati na rin ang Philippine Government.
Ayon kay Philippine Miseor Partnership Inc. (PMPI) National Coordinator Yolanda R. Esguerra, ang caravan na ito ay isang paraan upang maging mas malawak ang maging pang unawa ng mga mamamayan tungkol sa pangangalaga at pagbibigay ng proteksyon sa kapaligiran. Anya, isa rin itong panawagan sa iba pang grupo at mga katuwang sa komunidad upang sama-samang itaguyod ang mga programang mangangalaga sa kapaligiran.
Sinabi pa ni Esguerra na ang ginawang aktibidad na ito isang pagpapa unawa rin sa mga tao at komunidad na apektado ng problema sa kapaligiran at isyu tungkol sa mineral mining, coal mining, pagkasira ng watersheds, polusyon sa dagat, pagkasira ng bukirin, kagubatan at iba pang problema sanhi ng pag-unlad ng mga ng isdustriya.
