Taiwanese man dies after 23 hours of gaming

Philippine Times (ANI) Saturday 4th February, 2012

A man from Taiwan was found dead after playing a computer game for 23 hours at an internet cafe.

Police found the body of 23-year-old Chen Rong-Yu slumped in a chair at the cafe in the Taipei area with his hands stretched out towards the keyboard and mouse, the Herald Sun reported.

Cafe employees say Rong-Yu walked in late on Tuesday and sat down at a corner computer terminal.

He took frequent nap breaks, so the staffs were not alarmed to see him resting.

The following night, an employee tried to wake him, but found his body was cold and called police.

According to Rong-Yu's family, he had been treated for a heart condition in September. (ANI)
