ONE Fighting Championship, Asia’s most prestigious mixed martial arts promotion, recently announced the details of its long awaited second show.

The event is taking place at the BritAma Arena in Jakarta, Indonesia on February 11th and will feature four top Filipino fighters.

URCC Lightweight Champion Honorio Banario will be putting his undefeated record on the line against top ranked Korean Bae Young Kwon.

The Filipino who is a member of Team Lakay in Baguio will be looking for the seventh consecutive win of his professional mixed martial arts career.

Another URCC fighter, Manila’s Jessie Rafols, is on the undercard and he will be taking on Irshaad Sayed in a bantamweight contest.

Eduard Folayang made the headlines after winning in spectacular style at ONE FC’s inaugural event and once again the headlining fight will feature a Filipino fighter.

Former kickboxing world champion Ole Laursen will be up against Japan’s Felipe Enomoto in the final fight of the night.

Laursen was born in Baguio and after growing up in Denmark and living in Thailand for several years he is now back in the Philippines and living and training in Boracay.

He was originally scheduled to fight Folayang at ONE FC 1 until injury forced him out of that fight but he is now fully fit and ready to return to action in Jakarta.

Completing the Filipino contingent is flyweight Geje Eustaquio who is also based in Baguio, a city which seems to produce many of the nation’s top mixed martial artists.

He trains alongside Folayang and Banario at Team Lakay Wushu and will be taking on Alex Silva who is a BJJ World Champion from Brazil.

The card will also feature a heavyweight contest between BJJ legend Rolles Gracie and K-1, Dream and Pride veteran Bob Sapp.

Between them these two giants weigh an incredible 600 lbs making this the biggest fight you are likely to see this year.

ONE FC shows are currently scheduled to take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 31st and the Negara Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 27th with events in a number of other countries also close to being confirmed

There is no shortage of Filipino fighters on the roster with URCC champions Roy Docyogen, Kevin Belingon and Eric Kelly all signed.

ONE FC CEO/Owner Victor Cui is excited to see so much talent emerging from the MMA scene in the Philippines,

“I am half Filipino so it gives me great pleasure to see the top mixed martial artists in the Philippines fighting for the biggest MMA event in Asia. It does make my job much easier having a long running, well respected promotion like the URCC and world class training camps like Team Lakay Wushu, without them there wouldn’t be nearly as many outstanding Filipino fighters for me to choose from.”
